The first question that I asked myself when I started photography was, digital or film?

We live in a world where you can have anything in an instant. We rarely take the time to savour things and enjoy the process.

I chose film because I wanted to learn at my own pace. Slowly, but understanding all the important principals of photography. I thought that, while shooting digital, it’s easy to fall into the trap of shooting without a clear purpose. Having a limited amount of exposures and oportunities to shoot the picture you want, enhances the feeling of “making each shot count”.

I want my photography to express these feelings and to show the way I see the world. I also want it to serve as an escape from today’s feeling of urgency.

I don’t want it to be perfect, I just want it to be real.
